Buğra COŞKUN

Associate Professor, Obs & Gyn & Infertility

Associate Professor Buğra COŞKUN was born in İzmir; After completing his undergraduate education at İzmir Atatürk High School, he graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2010 and received the title of "Medical Doctor". He completed her ob&gyn education in Ankara Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Training and Research Hospital and became a specialist in "Gynecology and Obstetrics ". After working at Sincan Nafiz Körez State Hospital for State Service, he moved to Ankara Gülhane Training and Research Hospital and continued his studies there. In 2015, within the framework of the European Network of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ENTOG) exchange program, He had the opportunity to make observations on “promoting normal birth and interventional deliveries and Laparoscopic Surgery” in Slovenia. By the Robotic Surgery Training Program Certificate at Acıbadem University CASE (Center of Advanced Simulation and Education) Laboratory, he participated in Robotic Gynecological surgeries at Ankara Gülhane Training and Research Hospital. He took part in the organizing committee of the "Advanced Surgical Intervention Training in Emergency Obstetric Hemorrhage" planned within the framework of the "Program for Establishing Bleeding Intervention Teams to Prevent Maternal Mortality" organized by the Women's and Reproductive Health Department of the Ministry of Health. He also took part in the organizing committee of the "Regulation on the Practice of Travail with Hydrotherapy", which was established by the Ministry of Health, Department of Women's and Reproductive Health to make regulations regarding "Water Birth". Between 2016-2017, he served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of the Ankara Branch of the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics; Also between the years 2015-2020, he served as a Vice President of the Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Association – Young Specialist and Resident Organization which covers all the young Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialists and Resident physicians in Turkey. As of 2019, he has been elected as the Headquarters Delegate of the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics. He is on the Gynecological Endoscopy Association (JED) Supervisory Board in 2021. He has many oral and poster presentations presented in congresses, as well as many articles published in domestic and foreign peer-reviewed scientific journals. His medical works have been cited over 150 times. In addition to the chapter translations of the books accepted as reference in the field, he has also worked as a chapter author in the books published in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Infertility. He also serves as a referee for scientific journals. He has attended many national and international congresses and courses and has more than 60 certificates. After 6 months of practical and theoretical training, he getsthe Certificate of Assisted Reproductive Treatment (ART) Clinical Practices, which authorizes the application of IVF treatments, and continues to offer IVF and assisted reproductive treatments. Buğra Çoşkun, worked in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the Faculty of Medicine of Yüksek İhtisas University. He has been entitled to receive the title of "Associate Professor" in the field of Health Sciences, Gynecology and Obstetrics as of November 2020. After serving at Liv Hospital Ankara Hospital between 2018-2021, he moved to his own private clinic in Ankara Koç Twin Towers in 2021. Associate Professor Buğra ÇOŞKUN, who is married and has a child, continues to support his patients by adopting the most up-to-date treatment approaches in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and IVF.
